As a Operations Experience Representative, you will be able to use your excellent communication skills to provide professional and personalized service to our Front-line (Branch) Staff and Members/Customers. In addition, you have the satisfaction of helping our members/customers while learning and growing with in the Financial Services industry. This role is responsible for providing quality service and support to our Front-Line Staff and Members and other support areas of the credit union.

On a daily bases you will answer incoming telephone calls from staff and members performing essential duties related to processes including:

Essential Duies& Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process member payroll
  • Respond to member telephone calls and resolve routine issues
  • Process loan payments and deposits to member accounts
  • Respond to member correspondence received via mail or fax
  • Process and respond to issues related to state escheated funds, and tax withholding
  • Process various legal functions i.e. levies, subpoena, judgments, garnishments
  • Process various account administration functions i.e. decedent, trust accounts, dormant accounts, new suffix, account closures, name changes, address change, Certificate of Deposit maintenance, payroll set-up and allocations
  • Daily balancing functions i.e. balance corporate cashiers checks, teller drawers and all other negotiable items
  • Process check orders for checking and loan accounts
  • Process verification of deposits or account status requests
  • Provide support for incoming calls received from branches and MCC
  • Establish new Traditional, Educational, and Roth IRA accounts
  • Perform monetary transactions, account maintenance, and adjustments for IRA's
  • Review various IRA reports i.e. 1099R, 1099Q, and 5498
  • Post credits and debits for ACH exceptions
  • Reconcile and balance ACH files for settlement
  • Process ACH reclamations, disputes, and indemnity requests
  • Perform routine research duties i.e. ACH/Payroll/Share Draft Posting; problem resolution
  • Review reporting for fraud prevention i.e. Fraud Finder, OFAC, PPS, ChexSystems and e-Funds
  • Assist user with the navigation of online banking, bill pay and e-statement services
  • Work with CU 3rd party vendors reach problem resolution
  • Analyze and troubleshoot bill payment and online banking issues
  • Receive and respond to incoming e-mail correspondence
  • Perform all functions related directly to online services i.e. online banking, e-statement
  • Perform essential duties required to complete critical projects
  • Sort and distribute interoffice mail and fax requests
  • Reports all violations of internal loan policies and Government Regulations to management
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Member focused, proactive, goal oriented, team player
  • Strong communication skills such as written, verbal, and active listening
  • Well organized, able to multi-task, build relationships, attention to detail, and adaptable
  • Strong problem analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Set priorities and manage time effectively
  • Experience working with Symitar core system preferred

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One or more-year financial institution experience, preferably in a branch support
  • Ability to work without close supervision
  • Ability to work weekends
